Mathew Heim is a Senior Advisor to Burson, advising clients on the politics of law, notably in relation to competition and regulatory enforcement in Europe and internationally. Prior to joining Burson, Mathew spent nearly 15 years in-house, as Vice President at Qualcomm in Europe and then as Head of International Competition Policy at Amazon, Seattle. Mathew is currently a senior advisor to BIAC’s Competition Committee to the OECD and Co-Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce Task Force Competition Law and the Digital Economy. He studied at the universities of Bristol and Exeter before being called to the Bar of England and Wales.
