Soorjya has over 23 years of experience in dispute resolution across civil, commercial, constitutional and insolvency matters. A large part of his practice revolves around arbitration, and he has advised several multi-national entities during his stint as a litigator and arbitration counsel.

Soorjya represents his clients before the Supreme Court of India, several High Courts across the country, the National Company Law Tribunal, and other quasi-judicial authorities. He has been involved in several international and domestic arbitrations under the rules of arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Paris, Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), Singapore, and the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), London.

He is recognised as a leading practitioner by Legal 500, a notable practitioner by Chambers and Partners, and a standout practitioner in litigation and arbitration by ALB India (2023, 2020).

Soorjya graduated from Symbiosis Law College in 2003 and holds an LL.M. from the University of Bristol, U.K. Before joining Argus Partners, he was an independent counsel and has also worked with Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co.
