Dr Alpha Lee is the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of PostEra, a small molecule biotech company focusing on women's health, with programs addressing PMOS—formerly known as PCOS—and infertility. PostEra's approach leverages AI to accelerate medicinal chemistry and tackle challenging target product profiles. Dr Lee is also the co-Principal Investigator and leads one of the largest drug discovery center funded by the US National Institute of Health, securing close to $100M in funding. Before founding PostEra, Dr Lee was a faculty member at the University of Cambridge, where his research combined machine learning and chemistry, and was awarded the Royal Society Research Fellowship. He was trained at the University of Oxford (DPhil) and Harvard University (Fulbright Fellow). Dr Lee received the Hansch Award in chemoinformatics, and was listed in Forbes 30 under 30 in Healthcare. He has published over 70 papers in venues such as Science, Nature Chemistry, and PNAS.
