Anastasiya Markvarde is a recognised women’s health advocate, author of Women’s Health Digest, and Finland’s representative in Femtech Across Borders, a global association connecting and advancing femtech ecosystems internationally.

She is Head of Eir Accelerator, a global women’s health accelerator based in Finland. Its inaugural call attracted more than 320 startup applications from 58 countries. Through its work with founders and ecosystem partners, Eir Accelerator is contributing to the development of women’s health innovation in Finland, collaborating with biobanks, pharmaceutical companies and healthcare providers at both national and international levels.

Anastasiya is a regular international speaker at more than 20 conferences and events each year across Helsinki, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Milan and Dubai, as well as the Canadian G7 Brain Economy Summit.

She is a co-author of peer-reviewed research published in npj Women’s Health and Frontiers in Neurology, addressing women’s life-course health and the integration of maternal and child brain health. She has also contributed to the European Policy Centre Compendium on Women’s Health and regularly writes for FutureFemHealth.

Her professional background spans global pharmaceutical strategy, health technology and startup advisory, with a consistent focus on advancing women’s health and supporting breakthrogh innovation.
