David Younger is Co-Founder and CEO of A-Alpha Bio, which he co-founded in 2018 as a spinout from the University of Washington's Institute for Protein Design. He received his PhD in Bioengineering from UW, where he co-invented the AlphaSeq platform alongside scientific advisors David Baker and Eric Klavins. His technical background spans computational protein design, synthetic biology, and high-throughput assay development.
At A-Alpha Bio, David leads the company's mission to generate large-scale, quantitative protein-protein interaction data for drug discovery. A-Alpha Bio partners with leading pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, and AI model builders, including Amgen, BMS, Gilead, GSK, Cradle, and Boltz, to accelerate therapeutic development.
