Dr Jerome Barley is Commercial Director at Avion Full-Service CRO & Imaging Specialists, an Australian specialist contract research organisation focused on early-phase oncology, radiopharmaceuticals and advanced therapies. With more than 15 years’ experience across biotechnology and medical research, including over a decade specialising in early-stage clinical development and radiopharmaceuticals, Jerome has held senior leadership and consultancy roles across international biotech, radiopharmaceutical and clinical research organisations.

At Avion, Jerome leads commercial strategy and business development, partnering with emerging and established biopharmaceutical companies to develop efficient pathways to first-in-human and early-phase clinical development.

With a particular focus on complex therapeutics and imaging-led research, Jerome brings a commercially driven, partnership-focused approach to connecting innovative companies with the clinical, scientific and operational expertise required to advance their programs. He is passionate about leveraging Australia’s world-class clinical research ecosystem to accelerate global drug development.
