Dr. Joachim Glaubitz is Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at SeNostic GmbH (since March 2023), a company developing diagnostics for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen and an Executive MBA from the University of Zurich.
His professional background includes senior roles in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry, notably at Roche Diagnostics (Switzerland and San Francisco), where he led the development and launch of HIV viral load assays (including work that later supported Roche’s SARS-CoV-2 PCR test). He previously served as Head of Microbiology at Omya International AG and held positions in assay and laboratory management. Earlier in his career he conducted research on brain development at the Max Planck Society in Göttingen.
