Karen brings extensive experience in building and growing specialty businesses across North America, with a career spanning commercial leadership, business development, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. Her experience includes leadership roles within large pharmaceutical organizations as well as early-stage start-up environments, giving her a unique perspective on both established businesses and emerging opportunities. She combines deep knowledge of the Canadian healthcare landscape with broad international experience, having worked across Canada, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.

Karen is passionate about building and leading highly motivated, cross-functional teams that consistently exceed expectations and performance goals. She brings a clear sense of direction and vision to her work, and has a keen ability to connect strategy with execution, develop strong partnerships, and navigate complex and evolving healthcare markets.

Karen holds a dual Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degree, with a minor in Health Sciences, from Queen’s University. Executive education programs have created a stronger business foundation with extended program participation at INSEAD and Columbia University.
