Dr. Omar Dabash is a multidisciplinary scientist and serial entrepreneur. He is the co-founder, and CEO of Mavren Labs, specializing in clinical AI safety, system governance, and precision medicine. He brings over a decade of experience building, evaluating, and commercializing clinical AI through startups (including Y Combinator-backed), healthtech venture studios (Access Innovation Biobridge and the Validition), leading research organizations (Black Dog Institute), and Australia's top academic institutions, including the Universities of Melbourne and New South Wales (UNSW). Dr. Dabash holds a PhD combining genomics, computational biology, and machine learning. His translational research track record includes nationally-funded initiatives focused on integrating biological and digital data for personalized therapies, as well as developing AI clinical decision support systems in oncology (including colorectal cancer trial and care decision tools), mental health, and neurodegenerative conditions. An advocate for a systems- and human-centred AI implementation strategies, Dr. Dabash co-authored the Solution-System Fit (SSF) framework; a methodology designed to help innovators build "System Viable Products" (SVPs) that seamlessly fit to the regulatory, workflow, and safety dynamics of complex healthcare environments. Through his innovation studio roles, he advised and evaluated over 100 healthtech and biotech companies, guiding them through pre-implementation clinical simulation, synthetic environment testing, and AI validation prior to live clinical deployment.
