Dr Paul Gavin is Chief Executive Officer of Avecho Biotechnology Limited (ASX: AVE), an Australian clinical-stage company developing differentiated pharmaceutical products and taking them through to commercialisation. Under his leadership, Avecho advanced its lead asset — a differentiated pharmaceutical product for the treatment of chronic insomnia — into a pivotal Phase III trial and secured a commercial licensing agreement with a global pharmaceutical partner, validating both the product and the company's development model.
Paul is now focused on expanding Avecho's licensing footprint internationally and building a pipeline of proprietary, clinically differentiated products across human and animal health. He has been with Avecho for more than two decades, holding C-suite roles since 2010 and serving as Chief Executive Officer since 2020, guiding the company from early-stage science to a partnered, late-stage clinical business
