Qinghua Wang, MD, PhD, is a National Distinguished Expert, doctoral supervisor, Distinguished Professor at Fudan University, and Deputy Director of the Institute of Endocrinology and Diabetology at Fudan University. He was a principal investigator for China’s major national drug innovation programs under the 12th and 13th Five-Year Plans.
Dr. Wang has received numerous honors, including scholar recognitions from the Canadian Innovation Foundation, CDA, CIHR, and BBDC, and has served as Principal Investigator for JDRF-supported projects. He has served as a review expert for CDE, National Major Scientific and Technological Projects, NSFC Key Programs, national innovation talent programs, Changjiang Scholars, and NFSC for Distinguished Young Scholars, as well as international funding agencies including NIH, JDRF, MRC, and CIHR. Dedicated to translational research in diabetes and metabolic diseases.
Dr. Wang is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Innogen Pharmaceutical Group and the inventor of efsubaglutide alfa and other original innovative medicines.
