Sophie Papaconstantinou is a Business Development Manager at CMAX Clinical Research and has been part of the CMAX team for almost six years. Her interest in clinical research developed later in life, with personal experiences sparking a passion for healthcare and improving patient outcomes. She found site-level clinical research to be the ideal combination of science, healthcare and innovation.

Having started her career within Clinical Operations, Sophie brings both operational and commercial experience to her role. She works closely with sponsors, CROs, Principal Investigators, Key Opinion Leaders and site teams on feasibility and study planning for early phase clinical research programs, helping ensure studies are designed and delivered for success while providing practical, site-informed strategic input.

Sophie is passionate about providing meaningful strategic input to sponsors, supporting Australia's contribution to global drug development, and helping bring tomorrow's healthcare innovations one step closer to patients.
