Thad Huston is a global life sciences executive with more than three decades of financial, operational, and strategic leadership across pharmaceuticals, biotech, and medical devices. He has led businesses across North America, Europe, and Asia, with deep experience in M&A, portfolio strategy, business transformation, and global operations.

Thad currently serves as Group Strategic Advisor to Sinovoy Health Group, a cross-border life sciences platform helping global and Chinese biotech and medtech companies navigate market access, partnerships, investment, and strategic transactions across China and global markets.

Thad began his career at Johnson & Johnson, where he spent more than 25 years in senior finance and operating leadership roles globally, including President of Xi’an-Janssen, J&J’s pharmaceutical joint venture in China, and Group CFO of its $21 billion Medical Devices business.

He subsequently held senior executive leadership roles at LivaNova, Kite Pharma (a Gilead company), Galapagos, and Artiva Biotherapeutics. Across these organizations, he led major business transformations, M&A and divestitures, organizational restructurings, and strategic portfolio shifts, including the repositioning of Galapagos from small-molecule immunology to cell therapy oncology.

He holds a B.S. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
