Dr. Thomas Rexer is Co-Founder and Managing Director of eversyn, a Max Planck spin-off pioneering scalable enzymatic glycoengineering for biopharma. He previously led the Synthetic Biotechnology team at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg, where he spent over a decade developing the cell-free multi-enzyme cascades underlying eversyn's platform.

Thomas holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Newcastle University, an MSc from The University of Manchester, and a BSc from the University of Stuttgart, and completed an Executive MBA at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He is co-inventor on eversyn's IP portfolio and author of over a dozen peer-reviewed publications on glycoengineering and glycoconjugate synthesis.
