Dr. Todd McMullen is an endocrine surgeon, clinical investigator, and biotechnology entrepreneur based in Edmonton, Canada. He is the Founder and CEO of Pavonis Diagnostics, where he is leading development of the VICA™ optical biosensor platform for protein characterization, antibody and peptide engineering, and point-of-care diagnostics. As a principal investigator, he has led clinical trials in surgery and medical devices and currently focuses on translating optical biosensing technologies into tools for therapeutic discovery, biomarker assay development, and precision diagnostics. He holds patents in optical biosensing and diagnostic technologies.
