Yutaka Matsuda is Global Head of Search & Evaluation at Chugai Partnering. He is responsible for identifying and evaluating strategic partnering opportunities across therapeutics and platform technologies worldwide. Since joining Chugai Pharmaceutical in 2009, he has held leadership roles spanning scientific research, technology intelligence, and partnering. He led multiple antibody drug discovery projects and completed a research assignment at Genentech. As Manager of the Intelligence Group within Chugai's former Science & Technology Intelligence Department, he played a key role in establishing the Chugai Venture Fund and advancing the company's open innovation strategy.
