Tania Chakraborty Kelly is a Senior Scientist at Merck with PhD-level training in bioinformatics and molecular biology. Her interest in engineering optimal cell lines led her to begin her career after graduate school at a CRO, where she developed cell lines for pharmaceutical clients. She then transitioned to Merck, where she now works to develop and characterize cell lines for FIH and late-stage programs. Building on her PhD training, she applies coding in R and python for statistical analysis and data visualization to support scientific decision-making and workflow optimization.
