After graduating from the College of Europe in Bruges Belgium, Tero Louko practiced competition law in leading law firms in Brussels for almost 15 years before joining Google in 2010. At Google Tero Louko advises on all areas of competition law with a focus on online and mobile segments. Tero Louko has defended Google in multiple antitrust investigations in Europe and in Russia, including the European Commission's Shopping, Android and the licensing of standard essential patents proceedings. Tero Louko is a frequent speaker in antitrust and IP conferences.
