Amy Cho joined M&G in November 2023 as Head of Asia-Pacific, based in Singapore.

With a proven track record in executive management and extensive experience in spearheading successful Asia businesses across Asian and European financial institutions, Amy is well-positioned to drive strategic growth and development within the region.

Amy was most recently at Schroders where she was Chief Executive Officer for Hong Kong and Deputy Head for Asia Pacific. In this capacity, she was instrumental in overseeing day-to-day management of the group's business in Hong Kong, in addition to managing responsibilities for regional activities.

Prior to her tenure at Schroders, she was a Managing Director and Regional Head of Business Development for Asia Pacific ex-Japan for Pictet Asset Management, where she played a key role in the strategic development and expansion of the business. She has also held senior leadership positions at First State Investments, HSBC Asset Management and Citibank.

Amy currently serves on the Independent Board of Advisors for the Raffles Family Office, and is a member of the Advisory Council for the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) Business School. She is also a member of the Executive Committee for the Asset Management Group of the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association.

She has also served on the various professional bodies and was a founding executive sponsor of the Hong Kong chapter of the Bloomberg Woman's Buy-Side Network. Amy is an alumna of the University of Hong Kong, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering.
