Eric Edwardson provides a broad range of transactional and business counsel to clients in the residential mortgage banking and other consumer finance industries, with particular expertise in transactions for the origination, purchase, sale, servicing and financing of residential mortgage assets, including whole loans, servicing rights, and servicing advances; Eric's representation of clients in these industries is informed by his extensive knowledge and experience regarding the market, typical business and operational practices of participants, and the state and federal regulatory environment, including the requirements of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae; Eric also regularly acts as special counsel to clients on such matters as related to broader M&A transactions.
