Richard joined the Financial Reporting Council's Corporate Reporting Review (CRR) division in 2017. His work is focused on ensuring that the provision of financial information by public and large private companies complies with relevant reporting requirements. Richard has worked both inside and outside of public practice during the time he has been a Chartered Accountant - both in London (2002-present) and New York (1996-2002).
Prior to joining the FRC, he was Executive Director at EY leading corporate structuring and revenue recognition propositions and financial accounting advisory services.
Richard was Senior Associate at PwC assisting US clients when restructuring - either within or outside of a formal process (such as Chapter 11 insolvency proceedings).
Prior to that, Richard worked within the Goldman Sachs precious metals business in New York - preparing financial trading and valuation reports.
