Head Compliance Global Functions at Roche

As a member of the Roche Pharma Compliance Office (PCO), Martin is currently the Head of Compliance for Roche’s Global Functions, and Roche’s International Eight countries (big 8). In this role, Martin and his team manage all areas of a comprehensive Compliance Management System, from preventing and detecting to responding to compliance risks.

Martin joined Roche in 2008 as Senior Global Event Manager, where he assisted a number of Roche’s Disease Areas in positioning the organization strategically and implementing event and congress related deliverables. In addition, Martin co-lead the integration of a group wide congress accommodation management platform and led the implementation of a global event management software thereafter, before moving into Healthcare Compliance in 2014.

Before joining Roche, Martin held different roles at Novartis and Fujisawa (Astellas Pharma) in internal Congress & Event Management and worked at Hilton International in Marketing & Sales.

He is an active member of IPCAA, deeply involved in the organization of IPCAA’s Annual Seminar on Compliance and represents Roche on the IPCAA council.
