Annette Olesen is a senior advisor and board member with extensive international executive experience in risk management, governance, leadership and organisational transformation.

Annette holds non-executive board and advisory roles, including serving as Chair of an Audit and Risk Committee. She is also Senior Advisor on Organisational Accountability and Transformation at UNOPS, part of the United Nations system, where she works on strengthening organisational accountability and governance.

Previously, Annette held senior executive risk roles across the Nordic financial services sector, including at Danske Bank and Nordea, where her roles included Executive Vice President for Non-Financial Risk and Group Chief Risk Officer for Nordea Life & Pensions. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles with Deloitte and PwC, including as a partner at Deloitte, and spent several years working in London. Her experience also includes advisory work with European regulatory and professional bodies.

An actuary and a Master in Economics, Annette is also a certified coach, bringing experience across leadership, organisational culture and the development of capabilities required for effective risk management.
