Guillaume Figer is Chief Risk Officer of Societe Generale International Limited and a senior risk executive with over 25 years of experience across banking, financial services and consulting.

Throughout his career, Guillaume has combined deep technical expertise with strategic leadership, driving large-scale risk transformation, strengthening governance and navigating complex regulatory environments.

Previously, as Global Head of Model Risk Management at Société Générale, he built and led the global model risk management 2nd line function, spearheaded major regulatory programmes and established an AI Centre of Excellence. He has also held senior leadership positions at Natixis and EY, alongside several Board and Board Risk Committee roles.

Passionate about innovation, Guillaume advocates a pragmatic approach to risk management that combines robust governance, technological transformation and business enablement.

He is a graduate of École Polytechnique and Télécom Paris and holds qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor.
