Sewu-Steve Tawia is Managing Director of Asime Partners, an Africa-focused alternative investments ecosystem serving institutional investors, pension funds, foundations and DFIs, and a Partner at Jaza Rift, a deep tech and healthcare investment holding for Africa. With 25+ years in private markets and 30+ angel investments across Africa, he is Deputy Head Judge of the coveted Royal Academy of Engineering's Africa Prize.

A polyglot, Sewu-Steve is an alumnus of London Business School and Audencia Business School, with executive education from Stanford GSB. He holds the CAIA (Alternative Investments), CDFP (Digital Finance & Crypto) and CIFE (Islamic Finance) designations, is PRINCE2 certified, and is an ANDE-accredited investment management trainer.
