Paul Oliver

Head of Private Credit at Emirates Investment Authority (EIA)

Mr Oliver is the Head of Private Credit of Emirates Investment Authority, which is the Sovereign Wealth Fund for the Federal Government of the United Arab Emirates. Since Joining the Authority, shortly after its formation in 2008, Mr Oliver has overseen the development of a diverse portfolio of private credit investments across multiple underlying strategies and geographies.

Mr. Oliver completed his MBA at Manchester Business School, has an undergraduate honours degree in Accounting and Finance and is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Mr Oliver started his career in the financial services division of Arthur Andersen’s London office working with Hedge Fund and Pension Fund clients. Prior to joining EIA, he worked for London based investment managers, that specialised in structured credit investments.
