Varun Sanghavi is a Managing Director and member of the investment team at Apis Partners and is based in Dubai. He has experience in Private Equity and Investment Banking in South and South East Asia. Prior to joining Apis, Varun spent over six years in Private Equity investing in India; Varun was at Actis, a leading investor in growth markets, where he was focusing on investments in Financial Services. Before that, he was a Senior Manager at Kotak in their Real Estate Private Equity Fund and Special Opportunities Fund. During his time at Actis and Kotak, he was part of various investments in the Financial Services and Real Estate sector in South and South East Asia.
