Sunil Rao is a Partner and the COO and CFO of Plum Alley Ventures, responsible for driving strategic initiatives, financial risk management and portfolio value creation and optimization. He plays a key role in the firm's fundraising, deal sourcing and investment activities. With over two decades of experience covering roles in banking and corporate finance, Sunil has held leadership roles at Barclays, Citigroup, and KPMG, managing global client relationships and building and growing sales and product businesses, across the globe. An active participant in the startup ecosystem, he is passionate about advising start-ups on GTM, growth and path to profitability. Sunil holds an MBA in Finance, a BA Honors in Economics, and a fintech certification from MIT.
