Matthias co-founded Bright Capital and serves as Managing Partner and member of the Investment Committee. He leads the firm's investment activities and is responsible for business development. Under his leadership, Bright Capital has completed more than 60 investments and currently manages €600 million in assets.

Matthias began his career at a global IT firm, where he rose quickly to Head of International M&A. In 2006, he founded Peaches Group, a Frankfurt- and London-based IT service provider serving more than 30 mobile network operators (MNOs) across Europe. As Chairman of the Board, he sold the company to a private equity investor and subsequently supported its IPO. He then moved into investing as Managing Director at Mountain Lake Investment, a Switzerland-based private equity firm, before co-founding Bright Capital.

Matthias has also held shareholdings in a number of companies across the German speaking region. He brings more than a decade of C-level experience and more than a decade of experience investing in private companies.
