Prior to Serone, Iam was a Senior Investment Banker in Secondaries at USB, with more than 20 years of experience financing more than $15b of illiquid assets across credit and equity.

Ian has deep experience in developing and scaling secondaries portfolio lending and structured credit platform businesses. At Barclays, he set up the Total Return Swaps platform on leverage loans, served as Co-Head of Structuring in North Asia, and at UBS built the NAV lending book for private equity portfolios in Europe.

He has also structured fund solutions for private wealth distributions and insurance syndication.

Admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Alberta, Canada, and as a solicitor in England and Wales, with experience at Linklaters; currently not practicing.
