Herry Han is the Founding Partner of Soul Capital, a China-based venture capital firm focused on supporting technology-enabled early-stage enterprises.

Prior to founding Soul Capital in 2022, Mr. Han founded Lightspeed China Partners and served as Co-GP of Lightspeed China Partners Funds III, IV, Select I and RMB I. He was also a Partner of Lightspeed China Funds I and II. In addition, Mr. Han serves as one of the six global Investment Committee members of the Lightspeed Global Opportunity Fund. Before becoming a venture capitalist, he worked at McKinsey and Microsoft China.

Over his 18-year investment career, Mr. Han has invested in dozens of companies at an early stage, including MetaX (688802.SH), XPeng Inc. (NYSE:XPEV; HKEX:9868) , Full Truck Alliance (NYSE:YMM), SUNMI Technology (HKEX:06810), Ambiq Micro (NYSE:AMBQ) and FinVolution Group (NYSE:FINV). Other notable early-stage successes in his portfolio include industry leaders such as LandSpace, MINOSPACE, XPENG AEROHT, SUNRISE (Xi Wang), ROX Motor, Baichuan AI, YMM Cold Chain, FanDeng Reading and Lanhu.

Mr. Han is widely recognised as one of China’s leading young investors and has received numerous awards. He was named one of Forbes China’s “Top 100 Venture Capitalists of China” from 2019 to 2025 and one of Jiemian’s “Top 50 VC Investors in China” six times between 2017 and 2025.
