Jinsoo Lee is Head of Global Investments at Shinhan Venture Investment, where he leads investments across Korea, Japan and the United States, with a focus on AI, deep tech, and healthcare.

He currently manages the firm’s $200 million Global Flagship Fund and $30 million Japan-Korea Fund, investing in high-growth companies and building cross-border partnerships between Korea and global innovation ecosystems.

With over 15 years of investment experience, Jinsoo previously held investment roles at SK Holdings and Hanwha Asset Management, covering venture capital, growth investments, and global fund investments. His experience includes direct investments in technology and healthcare companies as well as LP investments in leading global VC funds including Khosla Ventures, DCVC, and Vertex Ventures.

He was also a founding member of the AI Alliance Fund with Hyundai Motor Company and SK Telecom, advised by Professor Yoshua Bengio.

Jinsoo holds an MBA from Cornell University, double majored in Economics and Law at Sogang University, and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Gerontology.
