Tjarda Molenaar is Managing Director of the Dutch Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (NVP), representing more than 140 private equity and venture capital firms. He has over 25 years of experience in private equity, venture capital and strategy, including as an investment consultant at Gilde Investment Management and a management consultant at A.T. Kearney.

Tjarda works at the intersection of investors, entrepreneurs, institutional investors and policymakers, with a particular focus on strengthening the investment ecosystem and mobilising private capital for innovation and growth. She is also a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, researching ESG integration and impact investing in private equity and venture capital, and is a regular speaker and moderator at international investment-industry conferences.
