Alok Pareek is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and a law graduate with around 17 years of experience in managing corporate tax and GST with multinational companies including Big 4s. In his role as India tax leader and APAC tax manager, he has led taxes with media, IT, and manufacturing giants. In his current role, Alok is working with Warner Bros. Discovery as “Director, Tax – South Asia”. Alok is hands on experienced in tax litigation by managing annual disputes running into millions of USD and also getting the long-standing issues settled via alternate dispute resolution mechanism like APA, MAP for which he has also been awarded by leading forums.

Besides this, Alok has authored 3 books on GST and over 85 articles on international tax. To make tax more interesting, in the digital world, he is running a unique digital media lecture series on India tax developments combining tax and adventure stuff.
