Ron Lanton is an attorney, lobbyist, and policy strategist whose work focuses on healthcare, pharmaceutical, and technology regulation. He is Senior Partner at Lanton, Lanton & Sosa Law, a Boston, Massachusetts-based law firm and President of Lanton Strategies International, an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based global government affairs firm.

Ron advises healthcare and life sciences organizations on regulatory, compliance, and legislative matters involving pharmaceutical pricing, reimbursement, market access, pharmacy and PBM regulation, the pharmaceutical supply chain, and federal and state healthcare policy. His work focuses on how changes in law and public policy affect healthcare markets, business operations, distribution strategies, and investment decisions.

He has written and spoken on pharmaceutical pricing, PBM regulation, biosimilar competition, AI-driven prior authorization, pharmacy policy, and state and federal regulatory trends affecting healthcare providers, manufacturers, and other organizations across the pharmaceutical channel. He has also been quoted in industry and legal publications on healthcare policy and regulatory developments.

Ron is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Illinois, the District of Columbia, and Connecticut. He received his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

He serves as an officer of the New York State Bar Association’s Food, Drug & Cosmetic Law Section and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Health Law Section.
