Ignacio Villena Reyes, Tomsa Destil’s CTO, he holds a degree in Computer Engineer from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.He began his professional career at Thales I.S. (Madrid) as a developer on SCENA the airport operations management system for AENA, the Spanish airport authority.He then worked at SATEC as an analyst programmer, developing telecommunications and geolocation applications and leading their deployment in Spain and Latin America.From 2007 to 2010 he worked for Amadeus in London, where he led the web self-service check-in team within Amadeus's high-availability Departure Control System.Since joining Tomsa Destil in 2010 he has founded and led the company's Electrical and Automation Systems Department, delivering projects for the alcohol and biofuels industry in Africa, the Americas, Asia and Europe. He is a Certified PROFIBUS Engineer, with further training in PID control and tuning, instrumentation and control valves, Beckhoff TwinCAT 2/3, Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7 and Yokogawa CENTUM VP. He currently leads the development of Tomsa's AI-based platform for advisory and closed-loop control of distillation plants.Title of the tal
