Pedro Cordero is Director of Institutional Relations and Strategy at Nutreco Iberia (Spain and Portugal) and Vice President of both FEFAC (European Feed Manufacturers' Federation) and CESFAC (Spanish Confederation of Compound Feed Manufacturers).

A graduate in Veterinary Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid, he also holds an Executive MBA and an EFQM Expert certification from Valladolid Business School.

Following an initial professional experience in the livestock sector in southwestern Spain, Pedro joined Nanta (Nutreco) in 1990 and has since developed an extensive career in the animal nutrition industry. Throughout more than three decades with the company, he has held a number of senior leadership positions, including Marketing Director for Nutreco's Agri Division in Spain and Portugal and Managing Director of Nanta Iberia. In December 2022, he was appointed Director of Institutional Relations and Strategy for Nutreco Iberia, where he is responsible for strengthening stakeholder engagement, advancing corporate strategy, and promoting collaboration across the agri-food value chain.

Between 2023 and 2026, he served as President of FEFAC, representing the European compound feed industry at the highest institutional level. During this period, he was also a member of the Board of IFIF (International Feed Industry Federation) and GFLI (Global Feed LCA Institute), and represented FEFAC on the European Commission's European Board on Agriculture and Food (EBAF).
