Biotech, Pharma, Drug Delivery, Diagnostic, Medical Device companies actively developing products, and platform companies supporting drug discovery and development for which they own the IP.

Academic
Institutes, academic spinoffs, tech transfer officers and other academic researchers and innovators.

Government
Government departments and organizations, and registered non-profit organizations.

Investor Qualifying Criteria
Investment firms with an existing portfolio or actively investing or seeking investment opportunities in life science companies.

To qualify for this reduced rate, Young Innovator companies must meet the following criteria:

• Pre-revenue
• 5 years old or younger
• 10 or fewer employees
• Developing therapeutics or diagnostics for which the young company owns the intellectual property; or owning the IP for a platform technology used for drug design or discovery.

Young Innovator company rates and deadlines:

• $595 until Friday, April 2, 2027, then
• $995 until Friday, April 23, 2027, then
• $2295 until April 28, 2027

Startup companies are invited to apply to pitch their company at the Startup Spotlight at ChinaBio® Partnering Forum. This exciting competition offers innovative entrepreneurs an affordable opportunity to engage with top-tier investors and other important players in the biotech industry to take their business to the next level.

Selected companies will have the opportunity to make a 6-minute pitch and participate in a live feedback session with a jury of leading investors, pharma dealmakers, and biotech business key opinion leaders who will evaluate the pitches and select the winner onsite.

Applications can be submitted by companies that meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Company created in the past three years, or innovation incubated within a company for a maximum of three years
• Developing new therapeutic solutions, technology and digital platforms
• Aggregate funding of 10 million USD or less
• Company with less than 25 employees

Besides virtual one-to-one meetings, you will have on-demand access to an extensive library of event content. This includes program sessions, presenting companies and sponsor and showcase companies.
